Jet set playboy
Born in Madrid, Spain, in a typical
upper middle-class Spanish family, Francisco was the pride of
his father and therefore a spoiled young man who could do no
wrong. As he grew older, however, Francisco’s keen sense of
style, passion for partying, and general lack of interest for
the car dealership his father owned led the Leons to start
wondering about their son’s aspirations in life. His taste in
friends and his disruptive partying habits soon became the talk
of the neighborhood, convincing Padre Leon to send sonny abroad
to finish school… Just so the hearsay surrounding his “behavior”
would die down with his absence, allowing the family business to
return to normal.
Forced into exile at a French academy for boys near Paris,
Francisco just couldn’t stand the life that had been forced upon
him and found himself leaving the dormitories every night to go
party in nearby Parisian clubs. That is, until he met Pierre
DeVries.
Young DeVries, son of a very powerful European industrialist,
had been sent to that school for the exact opposites reasons.
Pierre’s parents feared that their son’s bookworm ways would
cause him to lead a very sheltered life and prevent him from
acquiring the necessary skills he would need to eventually take
his father’s place at the head of the company. However, little
did the DeVries family realize how much of a change would result
from this big city exile. Pierre was assigned to become
Francisco’s roommate at the school, and the pair would soon hit
it off in ways no one expected. Pierre actually turned out to be
the only positive factor in Francisco’s life, soon convincing
him to look at his life and focus his energies into something
else than constant partying. Pierre soon became the only person
against whom Francisco wasn’t constantly trying to rebel. Under
Pierre’s positive influence, Francisco managed to finish school
with high honors and earn his business degree, which helped him
purchase the building where he eventually opened Club Leon, the
first of a string of extremely popular nightclubs that made Leon
a millionaire by the age of twenty-seven.
Unfortunately, DeVries’s influence on Leon quickly faded when
Francisco’s taste for money and fame surfaced and he met Darius
Reid. Pierre’s constant reminders to “think before you act”
quickly started to sound like a broken record compared to Reid’s
go-getter attitude, and Leon chose to severe the ties. Things
wouldn’t stay like this for long, however; and the pair would be
reunited in the strangest circumstance after several years of
radio silence. While in the middle of a prep session backstage
at a special fashion gala that Leon was hosting at Club Libertad
(his second club in Paris), a catfight broke out between Missima
owner Natalia Fatale and model Vanessa Perrin. Not realizing the
other was on the set, the pair of big husky boys rushed to the
scene to keep the lioness from scratching out Perrin’s eyes with
her nine-inch nails. In an amusing twist, the catfight had
broken out after Fatale had accused the make-up artists of foul
play: they had chosen not to use Missima eye shadows since they
felt they where far inferior to W’s and had said so without
shame right to her face. The resulting name-calling quickly
escaladed to a shameful display of misplaced ego. For the first
time in years, the two had a good laugh afterwards and putting
their principles aside, decided to stay in touch.
Now several years since the infamous incident, the two are seen
together more and more often, and rumors abound. Why would a
millionaire playboy and a sizzling hot photographer spend so
much time together? Are they an item? Should we expect an
official coming-out soon? But wait, isn’t Leon going out with
that famous model what’s-her-name, or is it what’s-her-name
again? Isn’t Devries Véronique Perrin’s sweetheart? It just
never stops for Francisco Leon, but he’s used to it by now. He
knows that it’s better to let the press and his entourage talk
all they want. After all, he still has more money and looks
hotter than annyone; and in the end, Francisco will do what
Francisco wants, as he is numero uno everywhere he goes.

Young and driving enigmatic attitude
Lukas Maverick has quite the little reputation on the streets of
London. He’s known as “Gorgeous” for more reasons than one.
Born in Amsterdam, Lukas moved to the UK when he was old enough
to have tasted the no-holds-barred culture his native city has
to offer. Lukas is well versed in the various arts of physical
pleasure and never misses a chance to have fun with someone new.
When his family moved to London two years ago, Lukas missed the
thrills of his native city and wished he could go back; but that
quickly changed when he was head-hunted by Kyori Sato to become
the first male on the modeling team of Missima Cosmetics. Lukas
doesn’t miss his hometown so much anymore. His taste for
mischief and being surrounded by so many cute girls all the time
simply took over. For the moment, Lukas is the new and only face
of Missima Men, a line of after-shave products that promised to
reduce the burning sensation of shaving but has in reality
caused more allergic reactions than the Missima chemists care to
admit.
Still, Lukas enjoys the attention for now; but his is an
unstable persona, and who knows where this young heartthrob will
end up next. Will he start hanging out with Pierre and Francisco
in Paris? Will he stay put in London? No, no one thinks so. This
boy has way too much ambition and wants to take the world by
storm!
Best Friend: Whoever’s around right now
Foe: None. (Lukas doesn’t stick around people long enough to
make any.)
Love Interest: Hum. Cough. Cough.
Mentor and Personal Guide: Kyori Sato (He views her advice as
gold.)
Loves: Pleasure
Hates: When he's not the focus of attention

Top industry mogul with one thing in mind: success!
Born in Paris in very modest surroundings from a Samoan mother
and Nigerian father, Darius Reid learned very early in life
that, to go straight to the top, “no” was simply not an
acceptable answer to any of his demands. Darius showed from a
very early age the signs of high intelligence, excelling at
pitting people against one another while making himself look
like a knight in shining armor.
Quickly tagged as a troublesome fellow (read bully) by the other
kids in the neighborhood because of his tricky ways, Darius
started surrounding himself with “yes” people. At age sixteen he
slowly started promoting small insignificant bands in
underground Parisian clubs and constantly fought with club
owners who did not take him seriously because of his young age.
Following a string of rejections, Darius began doubting his
abilities and his future as a top show biz producer; but soon
enough, the situation would make a full 360 when Darius met
Francisco Leon, and the pair quickly decided to unite as
business partners.
Leon himself a very young entrepreneur at the time who had just
opened his very first club in a dingy part of town, was looking
for obscure yet trendy acts he would be able to afford to get
the buzz going about his new place. Fortunately for them both,
at the time small acts was all Darius had to offer – that is,
until one day, Club Leon featured a very special band from
Germany that Reid had discovered by pure luck. The club became
the talk of the underground, and soon mainstream club-goers and
fashionistas could not get enough of the place. From that point
on, they both knew they’d conjured a powerful recipe for
success.
Now, several years since Darius Reid and Francisco Leon first
ventured into showbiz together, their success enabled them to
practically own the Parisian club scene, including the
protection rackets that unavoidably go with the lot. Reid now
also owns an up-and-coming recording label and is producing
concerts all over the world for the likes of Cold Ice, The
Stingers (that obscure band from Germany), Ram, and Stereo
Junkyard.
More recently, Darius’ life took an unexpected turn when his
partner-in-crime introduced him to the women of Missima at a
prestigious music industry event. Finally “tamed” for the first
time in years, Darius is now the pawn of model Kyori Sato who,
for some strange reason, seems to hold an almost mystical bond
over the music producer. His infatuation for the famous Japanese
model (who is down right rude to him) is a bit puzzling for most
in their entourage. Everyone says, “Now look who just can’t say
no!”
Best Friend: Francisco Leon
Foe: Darius is naturally very suspicious, so everyone is a
potential foe.
Love Interest: Kyori Sato
Mentor and Personal Guide: Darius is a self-made man.
Loves: Making mischief
Hates: When life slows down
 Style
and wisdom in one package
Born in the South of France, Pierre DeVries had a most promising
future all traced out for him. Old money, young aristocrat and
son of Jacques DeVries, viscount and owner of one of Europe’s
largest wineries – all Pierre would have had to do is stay on
track, and the world would have belonged to him one day. But
little Pierre has aspirations of his own. Although very
athletic, Pierre was never into the typical “rich jock” ego trip
most of the other boys in his school with had fallen into.
Pierre was far more interested in his art books, photography
equipment, and art lectures. This led him to become an outcast
of his own; but because of his physical attributes, no bully in
school dared take a shot at him because they knew he could far
surpass them at any physical competition if he wanted to.
Pierre’s father, however, wasn’t impressed with the way his son
kept busy in his down time and would have much preferred to see
him hanging out with the boys and causing the usual mischief
good society teenage boys usually get themselves into.
Thinking he was doing a good thing for his son, DeVries Senior
decided to send Pierre to a boys-only boarding school near Paris
that had a reputation for being very severe and almost
militaristic. Little did he know that the roommate the school
would assign to stay with their son would have such an
undeniable influence on Pierre’s life. Francisco Leon was a
young troubled teen from Madrid who had nothing else in mind
than fashion and partying. After Leon purposely ignored DeVries
and his geeky ways for a few weeks, things started changing as
they started spending more and more time together. For some
reason, even with the fact that they didn’t speak each other’s
language and had to converse in very bad French in order to
understand each other, a “brother’s-in-arm” type of friendship
soon took off. The two ended up helping each other in ways that
no one expected. Some of Leon’s fashion sense rubbed off on
DeVries, who had never paid much attention to the way he dressed
before… and Pierre taught Francisco that a sound mind resided in
a sound body, forcing an exercise routine on him that soon led
the two boys to become ultra-buff and the envy of everyone
present anywhere they went – girls and boys included. Everyone
envied their friendship; and, through Pierre’s tutoring,
Francisco managed to calm down a little and stay focused on his
studies. But Pierre DeVries’s friendship with Francisco soon
became an obsession, and his constant intervention drove
Francisco away from him after a rather explosive fight in a bar
one night.
Pursuing his majors in art and photography at another school on
the other side of town to escape his former friend and set his
life on track again, Pierre soon graduated with high honors; and
various talent scouts quickly noticed some of his work across
the city. Quickly becoming the talk of town, Pierre sparked the
interest of a childhood friend: Monaco heiress and powerful W
Cosmetic CEO Véronique Perrin, who invited him on board as her
official photographer and publicity art director. This
association made Pierre’s talents even more desirable to other
companies, and job offers quickly started pouring in, sometimes
for more money than Perrin was paying him. But again, his sense
of loyalty would kick in, and his devotion to Véronique soon
sparked a fling that is still unresolved to this day.
Much to his surprise, Pierre was reunited with college chum
Francisco Leon the night he was supposed to be covering young
Vanessa Perrin’s first modeling assignment in a downtown Paris
club. Not knowing Francisco owned the place and having heard
rather unsavory rumors about the club, Pierre had volunteered to
act as chaperon, which turned out to be one his best decisions
yet. When a rather disgraceful catfight broke out between then
Missima owner Natalia Fatale and top Model Vanessa Perrin over
some trivial comment, the boys rushed on the scene and were a
bit shocked to be reunited this way. Laughing their heads off at
Fatale and Perrin, the two met later to reminisce and
consequently rekindled their friendship.
Since then their friendship has escalated, much to the despair
of Véronique Perrin, who thought she had something going on with
Pierre and is still very hopeful that one day she will be the
one to steal his heart. Pierre remains close to Véronique, but
he is back at his old habits trying to keep Francisco out of
trouble.
Best Friend: Véronique Perrin (but really Francisco Leon)
Foe: Natalia Fatalé (He thinks she is ridiculous.)
Love Interest: Wants to keep that one private; “career first,”
he tells everyone.
Mentor and Personal Guide: Véronique's mother, Jerrica Perrin
Loves: Truth and beauty
Hates: Liars and deception |
