Description
Roni Horn Minimalist Fine Art Framed Poster | 1957-1996 Ltd Edition Print
Born 1955 • American Sculptor and Photographer
Key Works: Opposite of White, v. 2, Vatnasafn / Library of Water, Still Water (The River Thames, for Example)
Biography: Horn has been making cast-glass sculptures since the 1990s, pouring molten glass into molds where it
takes months to solidify. Their works explore doubles and opposites – heavy and light, solid and fluid, transparent and
opaque – as metaphors for the fluidity of identity. As a nonbinary artist, Horn has spoken about how their art refuses
fixed categories, instead embracing change, reflection, and the endless possibilities of becoming.
Poster Design: Solid cast-glass cylinders in cast glass gray, liquid silver, and mineral black. Minimal, meditative, and
conceptually profound
