Some collections take themselves very seriously. These plates do not. The Whimsical Plates collection is where Angelic Dreamz lets its whiskers show: a ginger tabby Dorothy pattering down a golden brick road, a tin-hearted kitten with excellent posture, mice in beaded fringe who never miss a chorus, and gentleman rats in top hats arguing politely over the last coupe.
Drawn from Oz to the Cotton Club and back through the Flappers’ parlor, every plate keeps the rich palettes and gilded borders of the house – they just happen to be staffed entirely by charming animals having far too good a time.
Beauty is everywhere. Often it has a tail.
